Yo man there’s a lotta UCSD Frat Boys out there flakin’ and perpetratin’ but scared to kick reality. While Pi Kappa Alpha absolutely denies any ties to the now infamous Black History Month “Compton Cookout” invite, the controversy has grown from a racist fetus into a bulbous, bigoted, Bob Ewell-sized tumor.
Among several combative initiatives, UCSD Chancellor Marye Anne Fox is advocating a task force to smack down on violators of the Student Code of Conduct.
Chancellor Birgenau flooded our inboxes this morning with an obligatory “tsk tsk” aimed at this whole abomination.
“We are the first campus in the UC system to have a Vice Chancellor for Equity & Inclusion” Birgenau reminded us, in addition to re-hammering Berkeley’s zero tolerance policy for “deliberate acts that discriminate or demean others based on race, gender, national original, sexual orientation, or any other personal characteristic.”
In the name of Rosa Parks, we’ll say what Birgeneau’s bureaucratic press release (legally) could not:
Take your tasteless irony to the back of the bus, because back here we’re down with the capital C-P-T, we’ll go toe to toe and knock you out the box daily, yo weekly, monthly and yearly until you see clearly.
